NINTENDO DS “RETRO”

Promotion Campaign | Retail Posters

This project was a series of promotional posters using photography to promote the Nintendo DS. Using complementary colours from the DS itself, I created a series unique pattern applications and type to tie back to the gaming system. The Japanese seen on the applications directly translates to “RETRO” since a majority of Nintendo’s demographic lies in Japan.

Promoting this series of adverts on their socials could influence Nintendo to give away several different Nintendo DS gaming systems that have not been sold since 2014, as well as have a sale on all Nintendo products that are considered outdated to draw in old or long-time customers of their brand.

SCIENCE NORTH EXHIBIT

This is a conceptual exhibit based around different species across Canada who are at risk/endangered. Creating a vibrant, friendly layout, I wanted my illustrations to be able to be applied to any kind of application or background. To properly attract my target audience, that being a younger demographic, I employed the use of low-poly, textured and colourful illustrations to create a unique and striking poster.

When producing the giveaway cards, my goal was to properly display accurate information and details about each insect.

By using the high profile of the insects head on the front of the card and the side of the insect on the back, to intrigue the user to flip over to the other side. Using a playful and bold font helps to properly highlight the information displayed on the cards.

UNDERGROUND MUSIC APP

The objective for this app was to create a underground band app that would help to find local bands in your area, discover new music, as well as help upcoming artists to promote their work. Allowing both artists and users to create personalized profiles, that will enhance their experience to find both their audience and dedicate their feed towards them.

Creating an app to influence and inspire people to experience the joy of going out and discovering new music with friends or other just due to the fact that many find it hard to find connections nowadays with the current environment.

With this in mind, creating a simple, yet appealing layout that would be easy to navigate was one of the priorities that I wanted to achieve with this app. Utilizing a series of algorithms and features, such as the radio page, which would automatically show new songs, albums and bands on a daily basis
