Andermatt to Zodiac

Where illustration meets typography

Andermatt to Zodiac is an A to Z coffee table book about true crime. It was inspired by a love of the subject matter and minimal design. Typography and illustration came together to create bold imagery that compliments the tone of the book beautifully.

Good Time Skateboard Collection

Where anolog meets digital

The Good Time Skateboard Collection started out as just another assignment but grew into a year-long passion. The goal of the boards was to create something that would gain character as it was used. The final designs are a mixture of digital techniques and illustration, blind contour, screen printing, and painting.

Year of Peace and Trust Postage Stamps

Where postage meets social good

The United Nations “International Year of Peace and Trust” was called for by a representative from Turkmenistan. However, Turkmenistan is run by a dictator who has stripped away many freedoms from his people There are many reports of unspeakable human rights violations but communication into and out of the country has been banned.

The postage design is jarring, you see “International Year of Trust and Peace” but see a battered, silenced person surrounded by gold. This represents the people of Turkmenistan. Silenced in a golden prison made by their leader. This design is pulled through the social media campaign, and the environmental design for the launch of the stamps. All the pieces are meant to make you feel uneasy in order to spark awareness for this little-known issue.
